It was the party of the century. The performance was held at the Winona Grange Hall, S. Seneca St. Centennial Concerts on the Commons featured music from a decade or decades over the past years. Musicians included a Beatles tribute band, a disco group, the big band sounds of the 20's and 30's and much more. She has had considerable experience in organizational research, developing programmes, executing presentations, and evaluating their outcome.

Born in Oshawa, she has been able to interact with citizens from many different Oshawa neighbourhoods through her teaching, sports and service on community boards, while raising her three children. She spent several years in career transition counselling, during the economic downturn, after her retirement from formal education.

At present, she volunteers in the heritage sector of the city. She has travelled widely and now hopes to make the th Anniversary of the City of Oshawa, a diverse, fun and successful event for its citizens.

She is a fair-weather golfer and had to put her love of pickleball and travelling on hold for Faeron and her family moved back to Durham Region six years ago and enjoys checking out the local food scene and travelling! The Community Centennial Committee membership should consist of no more than 30 members from the community who can support the outlined goals and objectives of the Committee. Suggested membership is to include, but not be limited to:.

Not for profit organizations includes arts, culture, sports, recreation, community service clubs, etc. Sub-committees may be formed to provide additional support to the Community Centennial Committee.

Individuals and organizations not part of the Community Centennial Committee are eligible to be part of sub-committees. Sub-committees will be determined, as necessary, when the city-wide plan has been developed and additional support and areas of focus are determined.
